24/11/2025INCONVENIENT TRUTH: WHY AFRICANS ARE MOST UNITED AT FUNERALS
02/12/2025REFLECTIONS FOR THE NEW MONTH
By Professor Douglas Boateng

Fellow citizens of Africa, social entrepreneurs, and modern day Pan Africanists, as we step into a new month, let us pause and reflect on a timeless truth that life never stops teaching.
Your circumstances may not always be within your control, but your choices will always remain yours to make.
Storms will arise without warning. Opportunities will pass without explanation. People will act in ways you neither expected nor invited.
Yet the direction of your soul, the posture of your mind, and the discipline behind your decisions remain entirely in your hands.
The elders remind us that the wind may bend the tree, but it is the roots that decide whether it falls or stands. In the same way, your choices are the roots that hold your destiny steady.
Choose integrity when shortcuts appear attractive. Choose patience when frustration tempts you toward anger.
Choose gratitude when life seems unfair. Choose purpose when comfort invites you into complacency.
Remember, circumstances may delay you, but choices define you. Your past may explain where you are, but your decisions will determine where you will go next.
As this new month unfolds, may we choose wisely, walk boldly, and live intentionally.
And may our individual decisions, woven together, lift our nation and the wider world higher than before.
Happy New Month.
